DESCRIPTION:Dementia Friendly Pewaukee is happy to announce that an upcoming event is being hosted by the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County. This event will be held on Wednesday, May 12th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. During the event, The Remember Project will provide their play, “Steering Into the Skid” with an opportunity for group discussion and information sharing.\nThrough 12 short scenes, the play takes you on a journey with Tim and Amanda in their car, bearing witness to the early progression of dementia. This play, presented by the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County, includes the performance and facilitated discussion to help you increase awareness, as well as provide valuable resources for you, your family, or friends who are experiencing the effects of memory loss.\nThis is a FREE, virtual event.
